Preparations are underway for the 2014 12 Points Festival, being held in Umea, Sweden (the 2014 European Capital of Culture) between 10-13 April 2014 and they are on the look-out for 12 groups from across Europe who can represent European Jazz today.
Every year is a new start for 12 Points, as we go looking in every corner of the continent for twelve worthy ensembles to help us tell the story of emerging European jazz right now.
Its a collaborative process, and we need your help to find the musical jewels in your part of Europe. Online Applications are now open, and we want every young musician in Europe to know about this important opportunity!
Application forms can be found on the 12 Points website and the deadline is 8th November 2013.
