Trio Riot UK Tour


Trio Riot, spread across Europe and led by Manchester-based musician Sam Andreae, are preparing to tour the UK between 29th July and 4th August.

As well as his work as a musician, Andreae is also the co-founder of EFPI Records - a label which releases records from a number of groups including the award-winning Beats & Pieces Big Band.

This marks the 3rd UK tour for the group, which also features Mette Rasmussen on alto and Dave Meier on drums.

Manchester Jazz Festival's 2013 programme features three EFPI events, all held at the RNCM Studio Theatre and includes Trio Riot (31st July), Leeds-based Shatner's Bassoon (August 2nd) and Anton Hunter Trio + Johnny Hunter Quartet + Roadrunner Honey (July 29th).

July 30th (with Shatner's Bassoon) - The Leeds Lock-in, Oporto, Leeds
July 31st - Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester Jazz Festival
August 2nd - Cafe Ort, Birmingham
August 3rd - Beatnik Records, Altrincham
August 4th - One Note Sunday, Derby
