Jazz Now Launches 4th April
After 18 years of broadcasting jazz on BBC 3, Jazz on 3 with Jez Nelson and its production company Somethin' Else have stopped and the replacement, Jazz Now will launch on April 4th.
Alyn Shipton takes over as the executive producer and 7digital as broadcasting company and three new presenters have been revealed for the new programme. Saxophonist and MC Soweto Kinch is joined by Emma Smith and Al Ryan to present a show which features live sessions, masterclasses and in-depth artist features.
The show will be broadcast at 11pm on Monday 4th April and the inaugural programme features Malija, Binker and Moses and Tord Gustavson.
