An action packed one day jazz festival is taking place in Newcastle on 26th January to raise funds for Jazz North East. Starting at midday, 16 bands will perform at two venues (The Bridge Hotel and the Jazz Cafe) featuring a host of regionally and nationally renowned jazz musicians.
...prepare for a feast of jazz that encapsulates everything that is good about Jazz North East - the stylistic diversity, the commitment to the best of jazz from all round the UK, the bringing together of well-established and newly emerging musicians and the creation of fascinating new combinations of players.
All the musicians involved are donating their time free of charge in support of Jazz North East.
Day tickets are only £15 which covers admission to both venues, or £10 for entrance to either day-time or evening sessions.
