Jazz at Heart's Lesley Jeffries has been in touch about their upcoming residential workshop weekend at Dalesbridge (near Settle) between 15th - 17th November...
The weekend is run by Matt Roberts, an extraordinary teacher whose ability to communicate the mysteries of improvisation is outstanding and whose capacity to keep everyone on board, whatever their starting point, is wonderful. The cost may seem steep at £250 but it really is good value for two and a half days’ tuition, all your food and board – and more fun that you’ve had in a long time! Matt is ably supported by Sam Watts, pianist extraordinaire and also a great teacher – and Sam Gardner, the gentle giant of jazz drumming and a fantastic enthusiast for amateur music-making and music makers.
