Sheffield Music service will host a two day holiday jazz course on February 24th and 25th aimed at young musicians of all abilities between 8 and 18 years old.
The course, held at Birley Community College in Sheffield, will give young musicians the opportunity to develop their improvising skills with the help of professional jazz musicians funded by Jazz North. The course will conclude with a concert at the end of the second day.
Further to these dates, certain bands will be chosen to represent the course at the Music Hub Celebration concert on March 22nd at Sheffield City Hall.
Join players from all over Sheffield to play jazz, make friends and learn from some of the best musicians around.
