Polar Bear Announce New Album, Single and UK Dates

UK jazz luminaries Polar Bear are back with a new album Same As You and a UK tour. Despite its short gestation since the last record, the Mercury Prize shortlisted In Each And Every One, Same As You is a bold statement showing a strong vision for the band's future.

The album is to be released at the end of the month on The Leaf Label and is already recieving an array of positive press reviews, as is the new single 'Dont Let The Feeling Go'. Featuring drummer and bandleader Seb Rochford and Hannah Darling on vocals, this songs life affirming mantra and spiritual mood capture Polar Bear as their most inclusive and thought provoking.

The focus, clarity and heartfelt sincerity of this single are characteristic of the album as a whole, demonstrating the continuing musical journey that the group has taken in the short time since In Each And Every One. In their ten year existence, Polar Bear have grown both as individuals and as a whole, reaching far beyond any genre restrictions and connecting with jazz, rock, hip-hop, electronic and mainstream audiences alike.
