Jamie Taylor launches new album at Sela Bar, December 15th

Top UK guitarist Jamie Taylor is to launch his new album with his quartet, Outside Line, on December 15th at The Cooler at Sela Bar in Leeds.

The band, which features tenor saxophonist Matt Anderson, bassist Garry Jackson and drummer Dave Walsh, have played together across the North and recorded their debut album in February of this year.

Jamie Taylor is a jazz guitarist based in the North of England. He is also a principal lecturer at Leeds College of Music (the UK's largest music college), teaching jazz guitar and musicianship on the BA Hons degree programme, for which he was Course Leader between 2007-2009. Today, Jamie gives performances, masterclasses and workshops around the UK, and also offers private guitar lessons. Having taught jazz exclusively at degree level for over ten years, Jamie is now one the country’s most experienced tutors in the idiom, and many of his former students have now gone on to successful careers of their own.

Outside Line will be supported by LCoM trombonist Peter Johnson's quintet.
