A new website has been set up to offer support to people in the music industry struggling with issues related to stress, mental health, substance and alcohol abuse and other addictions.
The site offers a range of resources and their dedicated helpline can be used at any time to find appropriate support and/or treatment through their network of support workers and health professionals. Set up by a small group of music industry professionals (including musicians, engineers, promoters etc) in connection to a Director of Clinical Services, Music Support's mission is to offer confidential, sympathetic and non-judgemental support.
The service aims to become a central body for specialised support within the music industry, run by a team who understand the unique challenges and circumstances faced by musicians and music professionals.
