The Doncaster Youth Jazz Association's annual Big Band Reunion/Celebration is the highlight of the year and promises to be better than ever! Come and enjoy a fantastic day of high-quality Big Band Jazz and Swing in the sumptuous surroundings of the Art Deco Earl of Doncaster Hotel. Traditionally many former members who are home for the holidays 'sit in' on invitation. This invariably transforms this special occasion both musically and socially into an amazing Big Band Reunion. This inspirational day commences with the younger ensembles and soloists throughout the afternoon, with the senior jazz students, local professionals and guests featuring in the two evening jazz orchestras. The four representative Doncaster Youth Jazz Association ensembles throughout the day are as follows:
2.00 - 5.00pm MATINEE performance, featuring the Youth Stageband and the Youth Swing Orchestra and guests
7.30pm till late EVENING performance, featuring the Youth Jazz Orchestra (DYJO), followed by the senior alumni Doncaster Jazz Orchestra (DJO), and guests
